It began like most good winemaking stories: a few people, a lot of enthusiasm, and a desire to make wine that we ourselves would want to pour. We started in 2012 in a small stone cellar in the Kozare district of Šenkvice. We made our first bottles for ourselves, our family, and our friends—so that we could enjoy pouring them for ourselves. A year later, we planted a new vineyard above the cellar. This space still stands today and is used for intimate tastings and smaller events.
As demand for our wine began to grow, it became clear that our small cellar was no longer enough. We needed a place where production, storage, a wine shop, and tasting rooms could all be under one roof. So in 2016, we purchased the former NUPOD fruit and vegetable warehouse on Nádražná Street in Šenkvice. The building was designed by architect Emil Belluš, and we didn’t want to obscure his signature style—we wanted to restore it. Today, it’s a modern winery with production facilities, a wine shop, tasting rooms, and a terrace—a place where wine is not only made but also tasted, celebrated, and enjoyed.
With quality wine, there’s no room for cutting corners. Quality doesn’t begin in the cellar, but in the vineyard—in the soil, the grapes, and the decisions we make long before harvest.
Low-histamine wines are also an important part of our product range. For select wines, we have a histamine content of less than 0.10 mg/l, as confirmed by a certified laboratory. For us, “low histamine” is not just a marketing slogan, but the result of meticulous work with the grapes, controlled fermentation, hygiene in the cellar, and laboratory testing.

Peter is the heart and soul of the winery. He’s involved with his wine every step of the way, from the vineyard to the bottle. He oversees the work in the vineyard, production in the cellar, and the business—and during the season, he’ll happily hop into the tractor himself. If you’re curious about how a bunch of grapes becomes wine in a glass, Peťo will explain it to you without unnecessary theory—straight from practical experience.

Daniel is in charge of sales and business relationships—from customers to restaurants to companies that host events with us. Thanks to him, our wines end up where they’re supposed to be—with you. You’ll often run into him at wine events, where he’ll be happy to pour you a glass, recommend a wine, and chat with you about more than just what’s in your glass.

Paulina is proof that a family-run winery is more than just a marketing slogan. She is gradually learning the ropes and gaining experience—in the cellar, at tastings, and during events. This is exactly how the art of winemaking is passed down: not with a signature on a piece of paper, but honestly and gradually.

Denis is responsible for much of the work that guests don’t usually see, but can taste in the wine. He handles fermentation, racking, barrels, filtration, bottling, and labeling. When the wine ends up in a glass in its final form, Denis has played his part in it.

Veronika handles communication, social media, and the organization of tastings and events. If you’d like to arrange a corporate party, celebration, or other event with us, she’s the person to contact.

Jano is the kind of person you’ll most often find in a tractor right between the rows of vines. He takes care of the work both in the rows and between them—from pruning and green pruning to machinery, soil management, and vine protection. He has years of experience, yet he isn’t afraid of new technologies, and thanks in part to him, our organic vineyards keep pace with modern practices.
The best way to understand what we do and how we do it is to come visit us for a tasting.
We’ll show you around the winery, introduce you to our wines, and tell you the story behind each bottle.
